Have trouble getting back to the boat? Do you like to explore new areas off the beaten path? Then the PADI Underwater Navigator Scuba Diver Course is for you. Whether it’s trying to find the cool swim through you remember from your last dive or exploring new areas, you can never get too much navigation training.
ADI is hosting a Navigation Course Starting September 9th. The course consists of 1 class session at the shop and 1 day of diving on September 14th at Lake Denton located in between Avon Park and Sebring.
In this course you will learn
- Navigating Patterns
- Natural Navigation (without a Compass)
- Compass Navigation
- How to "mark" or relocate a submerged object or position from the surface
- Underwater map making
- How to follow irregular courses with the Nav-finder
- Dive Site Relocation
- How to estimate distance underwater
