The Clear Plastic Slurp Gun with Contour Handle, Medium Size is a handheld vacuum pump with dive and aquarium applications. Use it to catch tropical fish and invertebrates that are holed up in tight spaces, either in the aquarium or open water.
For fish, start with the plunger drawn back. Place the opening close to the fish and slowly push the plunger in to create a current most fish will swim into. When the fish gets close enough to the opening, pull the plunger back to trap the fish inside the tube. Remove the end piece to release the fish.
For invertebrates, start with the plunger pushed in. Position the opening close to the creature, then draw it back to pull the creature into the tube. Remove the end piece to release the creature.
Clear plastic construction makes the device virtually invisible to fish and aquatic creatures in the water. Contour handle provides a secure grip, even with wet or gloved hands. Cleaning is easy: simply draw clean, fresh water up into the tube and expel a few times to rinse, then allow to air dry.
