As divers and ambassadors, we should protect what we love. We travel thousands of miles across the world to appreciate this vast underwater world and the incredible creatures that call it home so it’s time to make a difference with Project AWARE, Dive Against Debris.
Your training starts in the classroom by learning:
· About marine debris, the damage done, what it is, where it comes from and how divers are part of the solution.
· How to establish a Dive Against Debris® survey, the survey frequency, sites, profiles and equipment. Also the use of photography and knowing what to leave behind.
· How to make your survey count. The five easy steps to report the debris you’ve removed to maximize each survey’s benefits.
· How to join the global Project AWARE movement of scuba divers protecting our ocean planet.
During your one open water dive, you will conduct a Dive Against Debris® survey, including weighing, sorting, recording, disposing and reporting your marine debris to Project AWARE.

Course refund is valid for 12 months from the sign up date & up to 7 days prior to class beginning. There are no refunds or credits issued within 7 days of the start date.
Should I miss any of the scheduled dives, I will forfeit those boat fees & rentals. I will be required to pay a $75 rescheduling fee and the boat fees for all rescheduled dives.
Class attendance is mandatory. Any missed class will be required to be made up prior to the next class & student will be responsible for paying the instructor $50/hour. Cash Only.
