Wreck diving offers something for underwater explorers of nearly every experience level.
In this course, you will learn how to:
Protect: Wrecks can, at times, be surprisingly fragile. Learn how to protect wrecks from damage by divers while at the same time learning how to reduce the risks to diver safety wrecks can pose.
Preserve: Discover how to most responsibly share your discoveries with divers and non divers alike, whether it is through research, the preservation of artifacts or simply letting things be so they can be enjoyed by others.
Promote Understanding: Wreck diving is more enjoyable when you can uncover the origin and history of the wrecks you dive. Doing so also enhances your ability to share your discoveries with others.
There are many different types of wrecks, some of which are protected by laws that guard their historical and cultural significance. Your training starts by reviewing guidelines for researching and respecting wrecks.

This is a 2 night academic course with 4 ocean dives.
Wreck Diver Manual is required.
Course refund is valid for 12 months from the sign up date & up to 7 days prior to class beginning. There are no refunds or credits issued within 7 days of the start date.
Should I miss any of the scheduled dives, I will forfeit those boat fees & rentals. I will be required to pay a $75 rescheduling fee and the boat fees for all rescheduled dives.
Class attendance is mandatory. Any missed class will be required to be made up prior to the next class & student will be responsible for paying the instructor $50/hour. Cash Only.
