The purpose of the PADI Delayed Surface Marker Buoy (DSMB) Specialty course is to familiarize divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, equipment, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and excitement of diving with a DSMB.
This course will teach you how to easily, safely and reliably deploy a DSMB; giving you the peace of mind that you are comfortable using this essential (though initially daunting) piece of equipment whenever you may need to.
Remember to follow Florida Law regarding a Diver Down Flag. A DSMB is not a replacement & does not meet those requirements.
